I use Scrivener for writing my novels and short stories. I use MS Word to turn the Scrivener files into .docx and .doc files for upload. I use calibre to prepare the .docx file for conversion to an .epub.
I use Affinity Photo, Affinity Publisher, and Affinity Designer to make my covers.
